What is PSA?

PSA is a protein which is produced only by the prostate. PSA is found in a man’s ejaculate fluid and small amounts leak into a man’s blood stream. There can be greater levels in the blood stream in association with certain conditions. These are BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia) or inflammation or prostatitis.
